My favorite food in the world

A plate of hot pancakes drizzled with Buckwheat Honey might be the most loved food item of the planet.

But I am an Indian and I love Indian food so much. All the combination of Indian spices used to make traditional Indian food makes the dishes more tasty and delicious. The general spices used in Indian food are cloves, cumin, coriander, mustard seeds, nutmeg, cardamom, fenugreek, turmeric, saffron, etc.

My favorite food is Dosa, it’s a traditional South Indian dish. Usually, it is eaten in breakfast or dinner. The outer part of Dosa is made up of rice and urad dal and the filling inside it is made up of boiled potatoes and Indian spices. It is generally served with Sambhar or Rasam and Coconut chutney. It is a very common breakfast in South Indian states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

Dosa is rich in protein and carbohydrates and its not very heavy food. It’s very tasty and delicious food that everybody loves to eat Dosa including kids. Many different types of Dosa are made like Paper Dosa, Onion Dosa, Butter Dosa, Masala Dosa, Plain Dosa, and many more.

The major ingredients used in making Dosa are Urad dal, rice, and fenugreek seeds. These ingredients are soaked overnight and then washed in water for 2-3 times and then grounded in a paste. From this paste, Dosa is made. For the filling of Dosa, boiled potatoes are used with some veggies, onions, and spices. The Dosa crepe is always crisp from outside and potato filling is filled inside the Dosa and served with Sambhar and Coconut chutney.
